Simple terms for a free-core field tool. Read the chemical safety section - it matters.
Short version: SplashLens is a free-core reference tool provided as-is. The manual field tools are free for personal pool work and pool service businesses. Paid PartSnap Pro checkout may be offered on the web for extended online AI scanner access on one device while account-based entitlement is being built. Dosing calculations, AI scanner output, and error code information are reference guides - they do not substitute for professional judgment, licensed service technicians, calibrated testing, or manufacturer service manuals. You are responsible for your own chemical handling and safety.
By accessing or using SplashLens (available at https://app.splashlens.com and this marketing site at https://splashlens.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
SplashLens is operated by SplashLens. Contact: [email protected].
SplashLens manual field tools are free to use for both personal and commercial purposes. Pool service businesses, independent technicians, service companies, and individual pool owners are welcome to use those tools without charge. Online AI scanner access may have free monthly limits and optional paid web upgrades.
You may not: resell access to SplashLens, represent SplashLens as your own product, scrape or systematically extract SplashLens data for commercial redistribution, or use SplashLens in any way that violates applicable law.
PartSnap Pro, if purchased, is handled through Stripe checkout on the web. Stripe is responsible for processing payment card details. Store-distributed native wrappers may not include the same web checkout flow; paid access inside native app stores may require Apple In-App Purchase, Google Play Billing, or another policy-compliant flow.
Current web checkout access is device-local while account-based entitlement and cross-device subscription sync are being built. Do not rely on it as proof that a server-side account system exists.
SplashLens may show third-party parts search links for convenience. We do not guarantee price, fit, availability, shipping, or seller quality. If an approved affiliate tag is configured later, SplashLens may earn a commission and will disclose that relationship near the links.
Dosing calculations in SplashLens are reference guides based on standard pool chemistry formulas. Pool conditions vary. Always verify critical chemical additions with a licensed pool professional or certified pool operator for safety-critical situations. Never add chemicals without confirming current water test readings with a calibrated test kit.
SplashLens provides chemical dosing calculators as educational reference tools. The accuracy of any calculation depends on:
SplashLens makes no warranty that dosing calculations will be accurate for your specific pool. We accept no liability for damage to pool equipment, surfaces, or injury to persons arising from reliance on SplashLens calculations without independent professional verification.
Error code information in SplashLens is derived from manufacturer documentation, published service bulletins, and field experience contributed by pool professionals. It is provided as a field reference to help technicians quickly identify likely causes of fault codes.
Error code reference guides in SplashLens are not a substitute for official manufacturer service manuals. For definitive diagnosis and repair procedures, always consult the current manufacturer service documentation for the specific equipment model and firmware version you are servicing. Manufacturer documentation supersedes SplashLens reference data in all cases.
Pool chemicals are hazardous. You are solely responsible for:
The Chemical Safety Guide in SplashLens is a reference tool. It does not replace proper training, SDS documentation from the chemical manufacturer, or applicable regulatory requirements.
