Swim spa current pump troubleshooting checklist

Weak or uneven swim current is not automatically a pump failure. Build the packet around filters, valves, suction, jet alignment, active mode, current setting, and the exact pump/wet-end labels.

Capture first

1. active mode2. pump motor label3. wet-end label4. affected jet bank5. filter proof6. valve positions7. suction cover condition8. cavitation or air bubbles

Field-safe checks

  1. Clean filters and verify water level before calling the current system bad.
  2. Compare each jet bank and speed setting.
  3. Document cavitation sound, air bubbles, or surging separately from low speed.
  4. Leave drive, capacitor, relay, and line-voltage testing to qualified service.
