What It Means
Flow Not Detected
Likely Causes
- Pump not running or losing prime
- Flow switch dirty or failed
- Low water flow (pump speed too low on VSP)
- Flow switch bypass jumper installed (check for misuse)
Next Checks
- Verify pump is running — AquaRite requires flow to generate chlorine
- Clean flow switch paddle with white vinegar (calcium buildup stops paddle from moving)
- On VSP: ensure pump speed is high enough for adequate flow through cell
- Test flow switch — it should read closed when water flowing; replace if stuck open or closed
