- Battery management system (BMS) fault
- Ambient temperature too cold for charging (<40°F)

- Clean charging contacts with isopropyl alcohol
- Allow robot to warm to room temperature before charging if stored in cold
- Test with a known-good power supply
- If charging fault persists after contact cleaning: contact Beatbot support for BMS evaluation
